Fear in the workplace: How much is it costing you?
Nicosia, 15 June 2018 - Fear is good: it keeps us alive and safe; and in the workplace, it can spur us on to achieve. But left unchecked, it can significantly impact our abilities, our working cultures, and ultimately our organisations’ success.
On Friday 22nd June, Phoenix Leaders will host an evening discussion around the topic “Fear in the workplace: how much is it costing you?” led by Valentina Kislaya, CEO and Founder of Phoenix Leaders and Simon Ashton, Phoenix Leaders’ own specialist business psychologist.
Together, they will draw upon over 15 years’ experience, combining scientific research and analysis of people’s emotions, actions and thoughts to provide an insight into how a fear of failure cannot only hold back your own personal performance, but also your business’ success.
They will identify the common fears that can shape our behaviours in the workplace; look at how the brain is affected by and responds to fear; and offer techniques and solutions to help individuals and leaders manage fear effectively and harness it to their advantage.
The event will take place at 6pm on Friday 22nd June at The Club, Agion Omologiton, 97, Agioi Omologites, 1080 Nicosia.
