HR Expert Nigel Jeremy to Talk About Managing a Multigenerational Workforce at The Club
Nicosia, 15 November 2018 - The future is here: millennials, those individuals born between 1981 and 1997, are set to take control of the workforce. They are tech literate, flexible and creative, but they also have a completely different set of workplace expectations and demands than the generations that preceded them.
The growing presence of the millennial generation in the workplace has exposed a number of leadership challenges in need of solutions; how can employers meet the needs of this growing group whilst also encouraging collaboration with the older generations? How can we harness their unique characteristics for the benefit of our businesses? And, how can we provide them with the sense of purpose in their work-life which they so desire?
Phoenix Leaders, Cyprus’ first private Members’ Club, will host leading global HR expert and Chief Learning Officer at British Airways, Nigel Jeremy, to discuss and offer insights into this leadership challenge at The Club on Wednesday 21 November 2018, at 18:30.
This will mark the latest in The Club’s monthly events programme, which aims to bring international experts from a range of sectors and industries to Nicosia, enabling Members of The Club to develop and learn continuously from the leading experts in a variety of fields.
Valentina Kislaya, CEO of Phoenix Leaders, said: “The rise of the multigenerational workforce is a key issue for today’s leaders, presenting both opportunities and challenges in equal measure. I am therefore delighted to welcome Nigel Jeremy to The Club to help shed light on the expectations of the millennial generation and to suggest ways in which Cyprus’ leaders can respond effectively to make the most out of all of the generations within their organisations.”
